Mission

At Rockford Lutheran Schools,

Crusaders Athletics play a key role in molding faithful, well rounded students-athletes. Our athletic teams exhibit our school's core values of Christ-Centered, Excellence, Service and Harmony in the deep sense of obligation, responsibility and dedication to each other.  We show those values daily to our teammates (coaches, players, parents, athletic administrators, etc.) while developing a strong sense of unity that is only provided within a nurturing family setting. We want all who compete against us to know and understand who we are and represent.  
 
Many of the principles and skills that are learned in the classroom are challenged and developed through participation in athletics. The field of competition provides the opportunity for character growth and the development of our student-athletes. These programs provide a way for students to challenge themselves to do their best and strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.
