Organized in 1949.

Encompassing the communities of Congerville, Eureka, and Goodfield and surrounding areas: 113 square miles.

Governed by a seven member elected Board of Education. Meetings are held the second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Eureka High School Library, 200 West Cruger Avenue, Eureka, IL.

An active Citizens' Advisory Council representing a cross section of district residents and students.

Highest enrollment since the district was formed: 1,736.

Enrollment in 2021-22: Approximately 1,600.

Personnel employed: 122 certified staff; 82 support staff.

61% of the teaching staff hold a Masters degree or above.

All teachers meet the highly qualified standards of the No Child Left Behind Act.

A quality curriculum is offered with a variety of courses available.

Joint agreement with Illinois Central College for students to earn college credit.

A wide variety of extra curricular activities are offered at Eureka High School: 24 activities.
