Who We Are

 

A neighborhood school serving a blue collar, working class community, C.F. Simmons Middle School has been a pillar of the east side of Aurora for over 50 years. As we work to better serve our athletes by embracing new technology and a new attitude, we ask that anyone who wants to come aboard brings three things: A positive attitude, willingness to learn and willingness to work hard. 

 

 

 

 

At Simmons, academics come before athletics. Every athlete is held to a high academic standard. Student athletes must be passing all of their classes to be eligible to participate in athletic competition. Students who are academically ineligible are required to attend practice, but cannot dress and must be doing any work that may be missing or be redone to earn a higher grade. 

 

 

 

 

 

Lastly, all of our coaches are qualified and have the team's best interest in mind at all times. If you have a question about playing time or anything else, please wait 24-hours after a game to get in touch with your coach. Emotions run high in athletics and we all need time to process the outcome of a given game, including our student athletes.
